Well - I thought I'd count my protein grams just to see how much 80-100 grams really is. Wow! It feels like all I do is eat all day long! It was amazing how much better I felt yesterday. So much more energy and focus. I also slept a lot better last night.
Yesterday, I focused on string cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, nuts, peanut butter, milk, meat. My midwife said red meat is great when you're pregnant. I love fruit, so she said dip apple slices in peanut butter. Or eat cantelope with some cottage cheese. It's the constant blood sugar spiking and dropping that is causing me to be so blurring.
Do any of you have any other suggestions for good sources of protein?

ReplyDeleteEggs (Hard boiled, omelettes) grassfed beef (tacos, hamburgers, chili), grassfed hotdogs, free range chicken (grilled, marinated, fajitas, cabobs), beans & rice
ReplyDeleteAlso, ezekiel bread has protein in it.
