Derek, Beth, and Jack ~ August '06 Visit

My brother and his family came to visit in August and we had an absolute blast! I don't get to see them more than twice a year, so we really live it up when we are together. My brother shut down his restaurant for 2 weeks, so we had a great time for almost 2 weeks. My brother and I have always been really close. Even though we don't see each other very often, it's like we haven't skipped a beat when we are together. I love him so much! I also love his beautiful wife, Beth, very much. Of course my nephew, Jack, is such a joy as well.


Derek and Halle enjoyed lots of snuggle time together. Halle loved Derek, and Derek enjoyed some time with a baby. He doesn't get that very often.

We went to Pizza Hut for dinner one night and Sophie and Jack enjoyed coloring some hats and wearing them!

Jack and Sophie loved making sundaes and Nanny's house.

We made a visit to my Grandma Mary's house. My grandma enjoyed every moment staring at her great grandchildren. Jack loved playing the role of "big brother". He is ready for a brother or sister!

Of course, we couldn't miss the zoo! Sophie got to show Jack "her zoo"! Sophie is so comfortable there. We go there a lot!

We love you so much, Derek, Beth, and Jack! We can't wait to see you again soon!
