Canada Visit

Josh and I headed up to Canada last weekend to celebrate Rob's 30th birthday. They live in London, Ontario, so it's only a 5 hour drive. Not bad at all. Josh and I got to be alone with each other and talk for 10 hours! It was awesome. My mom stayed with the girls at our house.

Rob and Josh went to college together and played on the tennis team. They were roommates for a couple of years. I have known Rob and Lisa ever since Josh and I started dating. We all get along so great and try to see each other a few times a year. We arrived on Friday night and showed up at a restaurant where Rob and his family were having a birthday dinner. Lisa knew we were coming, but we surprised Rob! It was great.


Right when we got back to Rob and Lisa's house, the boys hit the ping pong table, of course! Lisa and I enjoyed ourselves sitting on the couch talking.

On Saturday, Lisa and I slaved all day in the kitchen while the boys relaxed. Lisa made 4 lasagna dishes for a dinner party she hosted on Saturday night for Rob's birthday. I was her assistant! The food was awesome, Lisa! I told Rob she wins wife of the year for this. I was in charge of decorating. I don't work with streamers much, so I tried to play it safe. :)
