Well...Sophie can read her first book! It's called Busy Day. Each page has an action going on, and has one word on the page which is a verb ending in -ing. example: painting. She has the book memorized, and she can read the entire thing accurately. It's awesome! Of course, I cried the first time she showed me.
Sophie loves to read. It is, for sure, one of her favorite things to do...next to taking care of her baby dolls.
