Over the weekend, I attended the Women of Faith Conference with some wonderful women from our church. It was a great time and very encouraging. Heidi (in this picture) has become a great friend of mine. She is the wife of the worship pastor at Sonrise. Josh plays in the band every 3 weeks or so, and we have kids the same age. We have a lot in common and do a lot together.
Of course, I had to take a self-portrait in the car on the way there.
This is our children's pastor, Diane. She is my "supervisor" now with my new position.I am working 10 hours a week from home doing all the curriculum for our Sunday School classes. I am really enjoying it.
Heidi and I were having a good talk in the hallway during a break. We could talk for hours!

I have heard this is an excellent conference to go to. I just love that you are doing the studies for church to. I need to get more involved there.
