My Mom had a birthday on August 29th, and Sophie and I took her to Takaoka for a celebration. I love Takaoka!!! For those of you who don't know, it's a Japanese restaurant downtown Ft. Wayne that cooks your food on a hot table in front of you. It's a big show! Sophie loved the show, but not the food. She probably took one bite of food.
However, she really enjoyed my Mom's birthday dessert!!!
After dinner, we enjoyed a carriage ride around downtown Ft. Wayne. It was a great night with two of my favorite girls!
Happy Birthday to you, Mom! We love you very much and can't wait to celebrate many more birthdays with you.
