Today we were out for a walk/bike ride on this beautiful day. Sophie and Halle were ahead of me riding their bikes. All of a sudden, Sophie stopped and looked back at me.
She said, "Hey, Mommy? When you get older, I will be a mother, and I will hold you. When you are feeling sick. Ok?"
Wow... how powerful. What a gift from God.

ReplyDeleteMaybe she was thinking of the book that I read to her, "Love You Forever" by Robert Munsch. She loves that book. She is so beautiful and definately a gift from GOD, for sure!!

I was thinking about the book, "Love you Forever" when I read this post. Before I had kids, I did not understand that book at all. I thought it was a strange book. But when Nathan was a baby, I read that book to him and cried! :) It is amazing how your perspective on life changes when you have kids. :) I love this post! :)
