I had my 36 week appt. today and was checked again. I have been having a lot of contractions, so the Dr. checked me again. I am still the same as last week which is a good thing. They said if I went now, they wouldn't stop me. However, they'd like me to wait until 37 weeks. I was told not to go too far from home. The Dr. expects me to deliver quickly considering how quick my other 2 were. Halle was delivered in 6 hrs. from start to finish. I only pushed for 9 minutes.
The heartbeat was in the 130-40s. I measured right on. I have gained a total of 28 pounds so far. Everything is great.
How am I feeling? Wow! It is getting really hard to roll over in bed. :) I am not sleeping as well. My back is hurting more. I feel like I am getting testy. The past couple of weeks, I have felt like I am always a few steps behind. Being 9 months pregnant, with 2 kids, Halle's bday is Dec. 20th and Sophie's is January 14th, Christmas, planning meals, shopping, getting cards out, etc....... I just can't keep up with it all! :) Not to mention, we had an ice storm and didn't have power for 2 days! We had to leave our house. Josh has looked at me a couple of times and said, "You need to chill out!"
Soooooo - I think I am looking forward to getting my body back. Although - for some reason - I think I've permanently lost my mind! Or maybe it's just 11 pm on Christmas Eve, and I need to get to bed!
Peace!
Yea....peace out!! We'll get through this with flying colors!!
ReplyDeleteLove you,
Mom
If it makes you feel any better, Chad tells me regularly that I need to chill out, and I'm NOT almost 9 months pregnant!
ReplyDeleteYou are going to have an awesome and quick delivery, I can just tell! The baby will come when he/she is ready. Hang in there... as you know, you won't remember this uncomfortable/one-step-behind/testy phase once you hold your baby in your arms. It is all worth it!
ReplyDeleteLet me know if you you need to vent, cry, or exclaim you excitement! Love you.
Hang in there---you don't have too much longer. I remeber how long these last few weeks seem like. The baby will be here before you know it!!!
