Finally Healthy! An update...

Well, it's been a while since I wrote. Since the beginning of April, it's been a roller coaster ride of the girls puking and diahrea. I think they had a virus and then got another one while their immune systems were down. Then it ended with me! Yeah, Momma got it! Not good.

I think it's safe to say that we are all finally doing well! Wow! Unfortunately, most of the puking happened in the middle of the night. They would wait until then! So, between feeding the baby once, Sophie, Halle, etc. I have not slept well during the month of April.
I spent the past 2 days trying to stabalize the house. We are on day 4 of healing, so I think we're good. Josh and Ian never got it. Josh may, but I'm sure Ian won't with him breastfeeding.

Ian is doing wonderful. He consistently sleeps from 8ish through 4am. He eats quickly and then sleep until 7 or 8am. He is 14 pounds or more. He's trying to roll over. :) He is 3 months old! I'll do a special post on him soon.

Josh and I are going away on Sunday and Monday. I am SO looking forward to some time to re-charge. I am incredibly thankful for our parents taking care of our kids and allowing us to do this. Josh has a conference in Indy, so I'm tagging along. We are doing something special on Sunday, but I'm planning to stare at the walls on Monday while he is away. :) Can't wait!

  1. I am in Indy! If you would like to do something while you are waiting for Josh just let me know. However, I know how some alone time can be nice too. :)

  2. Yeah, I usually book it up with visiting all of my friends down there, but this time - I think I will spend it alone recharging. If I change my mind, I'll let you know. Thanks, Jenn!

  4. Oh, I am so happy to hear everyone is feeling better and you don't have to worry about puking and diarrea anymore :) Not what you need with a 3 month old to take care of.

Good for you guys for getting away! I'll bet your Monday will be HEAVEN with nothing planned and time to yourself. Pamper yourself a little bit... catch up on reading... watch tv... sleep! Sounds fabulous!!
