Sophie and Baby Ian
Enjoying his cereal!
I can hardly believe that our little baby is 4 months old. Well now, 4 1/2 months!
It's getting really fun the more he is interacting, laughing and smiling. The sweetest thing is that he has found his feet, so he holds them when he lays on his back. His legs are so chubby and cute! He has rolls everywhere.
He is still nursing every 3 hours. He started waking a couple times at night right at 4 months, so I started cereal and it worked immediately. He is now up to eating cereal at breakfast and dinner. He LOVES it! He starts kicking his arms and legs as soon as he sees it coming. We'll do cereal for 2 another weeks or so and then I'll start veggies. I never fed the girls this early, but I am thinking boys must be different!
He is still sleeping from 8pm to 5:30 or 6 and then he eats and goes back to sleep until 8am or after. He takes a few naps throughout the day.
At his 4 month well check, he weighed 15 pounds. I don't remember the length.
He has lost his hair! So if history will repeat itself, it will all grow in blonde like the girls!
He has started noticing when I leave the room and will cry for me. When I come back, he smiles and kicks his legs with excitement. He has started getting nervous around other people and will stick his lip out when they talk to him or hold him. Sophie did that. He does NOT like the bottle. He will scream for 30 minutes or more before he'll finally give in.
He is finally used to the girls and all their love and loves it when they play with and snuggle him.
I promise I'll post pictures soon! Things are done in small chunks around here! :D
Thanks for the update! Can't wait to see him again and see how much he has grown and changed.
ReplyDeleteHis pictures don't do him justice. And now with his hair gone...wow...he looks different!! He is soooo adorable!!!!! And he is such a good little babe!!!!! Can't wait to baby-sit on Friday!!! Hope that he takes the bottle!! Everyone wish me luck!!!

Ian is adaorable!
ReplyDeleteJackson did not like the bottle for awhile too. So we would dip the tip of it in sugar water and he would love that. Then after a doing that a few times he would take the bottle without the sugar water on it. Just a suggestion to help give you a little break!
