After Christmas Reflection

I will journal and post some pictures (Josh currently has the camera) about Christmas, but I wanted to journal now about "After Christmas" feelings. I think this is important to do now because we forget how we feel by the time next year arrives.
Spend Less, Give More, Enjoy Presence with our family and loved ones, .......
After it's all over and there's all this STUFF to go through. We're thankful, but it's too much....
Teaching our kids to not be SELFISH. Sophie cried after all of her gifts were opened. I instantly got angry, but Josh did such a nice job with talking her through it.
There is a let down.
It's normal and natural. Kids are born selfish. Some adults are still selfish.
So - my final thoughts for next year.
Only use cash to buy gifts. That means we have to budget and save NOW!
Do a community service project as a family.
Spend Less (even though we didn't spend much).
Give More.
Simply Enjoy and BE with our family and loved ones and enjoy PRESENCE together.
I will print this off for next year and read it.
Because I feel the same way every year (I remember now). I just forget by next year.
