Oh, Baby Ian... I had to take a moment to write about him, just so I'll never forget.
Let me begin by saying - He is sooooo stinkin' adorable, I can hardly stand it. Seriously, I say several times a day, "Is he the cutest thing you ever did see?" He is an absolute doll!
BUT - he is soooo attached to me. He goes to the church nursery 1 hr a week, and other than that, he is with his Mom, Dad, Grandma or Grandpa. But, with ME mostly...
Which leads to - MAMMA'S BOY!
Thankfully, when I'm not in the room, he's awesome with all of those other caregivers. In fact, PERFECT, as they describe. grrrr....
I remember Sophie went through this... Grabbing and crying at my legs when I'm trying to get a meal prepared or cleaned up. And if I pick him up, his crying shuts off instantly! and I mean instantly... it's like a switch.
So, I'm doing lots of deep breathing and smiling. Trying not to give in to every single cry.
But, it's hard and wearing on my nerves. I still have 2 big girls that need me.
So, as you may guess - I'm telling myself, "This is a season, Myah. Breath, keep breathing. Enjoy where you are RIGHT NOW. This is not going to last forever. And, maybe, just maybe. You're gonna miss this."
