We've had house guests...

Maybe you haven't even noticed, but I've been out of Blogland for the past several days.  We've had house guests!  They arrived on June 21, and we stood outside and waved them off this morning at 4:00 am.

Pancakes for Breakfast!

Catching Fireflies!

A Firefly Catcher!

Josh's cousin, Monica, came with her 2 daughters (ages 2 and 4) from CA to stay with us for 9 days.  We had a fabulous time.

We opened up our home to them, gave them the basement to call home and said, "Welcome!"

We talked, played, cooked, ate, sat, relaxed, read, played more, had a few outings, enjoyed concerts at our park, caught fireflies, picked strawberries, made smores at the bonfire, picnics and play at parks, went to the zoo, attended our VBS, stayed up late, slept in, cooked more, ate more, played some more, relaxed every day, Monica and I escaped for a pedicure, hung lots of clothes on the line, I woke up early to walk with Monica, we enjoyed our coffee and devotionals before the children woke, the adults enjoyed late night talks around the bonfire, enjoyed Zestos, bike rides, had lots of water play in the backyard, stayed up late every night, slept in every day... and on and on and on.  It was perfect.

I have been in total relaxation mode for the past several days.  She said to me, "It's so peaceful here.  Who would have thought with 5 children - ages: 2, 2, 4, 5, 7  :)

It was great!

I have 2 days to prepare our family for a week away for our Summer Lake Vacation.

So, my relaxation, vacation heart and mind will continue a little longer.  I'm on a Blogland Sabbath - just thought I'd check in with you all.  :)

Blessings to each of you!

What have you been up to?!  :)
