Halle is 10 months old!

Another month has passed, and Halle is now 10 months old! Her biggest milestones have been physically and socially. So, I've decided to include mostly action shots since that is what she is doing all the time! I am going to try and get a good close-up one of her this weekend. She is cruising around on everything and even standing alone for a few seconds. She loves playing with other children, especially Sophie. They will play for a long time in Sophie's room together. Sophie likes to grab toys from her and say, "Mine!", but we are working on that with Sophie. We encourage Sophie to replace the item she takes with something else. Halle rarely crys when Sophie does that. She is very used to it! Sophie is really good with keeping Halle out of trouble.

One of the most fun times in our house right now is bathtime! Halle has always loved the bath, and now she is totally WILD in there! She stands up, crawls around, and just goes crazy. She splashes like crazy, belly laughs, pulls herself up on the side, falls down, laughs some more, and just has the time of her life. As you can see, I have to be ready for her to try to climb out at any second. It's an intense 20 minutes in our day! :)

All I can say is that each month gets more fun and more fun! Watching the two of them interact, love, and bond is incredible. I feel that God gave us the perfect match for siblings. Sophie is all girl, so petite, and a little princess! Halle is so thick, easy going, and doesn't complain about much. My mom and I joked that Sophie's 3rd birthday will be a princess birthday or Strawberry Shortcake, and Halle's will be Bob the Builder. :) I am so happy they are so close in age.

At 10 months...

Halle loves: her mommy, Sophie, her daddy, other people, going places, playing with children, crawling around discovering what's on the ground, pulling herself up, cruising, bathtime, when her mommy sings, music, walks, swings, hammocks, crawling under things, her bottles of formula, Sophie Sophie Sophie!

Halle does not like: getting dressed after her bath (she is cold and tired) I have found that if I stick her bottle in her mouth while I am getting her dressed, she is happy! :), getting her nose wiped, when Sophie doesn't want her involved in what she is playing at the time, foods with meats, laying still for a diaper change

Eats: formula 28oz per day, rice/oatmeal/mixed baby cereal, Gerber baby foods...most fruits and veggies, she does not like meats in foods

Sleeps: Awesome! 7:30pm until 6am, eats 7oz of formula, and then sleeps until 7:30 or 8:00am. Sometimes she will sleep straight through to 7:00am. Two naps a day. 9:30ish and 2ish. She naps a total of 3-4 hours during the day.

Milestones: crawling, pulling up, cruising, standing independently for a few seconds. Still no teeth! Sophie did not have any teeth on her first birthday.
