Happy 3rd Birthday, Sophie!

We celebrated Sophie's 3rd birthday Circus style! We did a JoJo Circus theme. I decided I would dress up as a clown and paint all of the kids' faces as they walked in the door. I think I should win "Mom of the Year" for that!!! :) I didn't want the girls to freak out during the party when they saw me for the first time dressed as a clown, so we practiced the night before. I dressed up in my costume, painted Sophie's face, and she put on some of my gear. It's a good thing we practiced because she was a little scared at first.

Look at this cute little clown! She really enjoyed getting her face painted and wearing the BIG shoes. She loved the wig too! She wore it most of the night!

I made the cupcakes and decorated them with clown faces. The eyes and noses were M&Ms.

Sophie was really shy and bashful when we sang "Happy Birthday" to her. She blew out all 3 candles all by herself.

We had around 25 people in attendance. The guests included friends and family. We had 10 kids or so. I painted their faces as they walked in (or at least tried to). Some of the little ones didn't want me getting near them! The kids were able to do a little craft, and they all took home a balloon and JoJo gift box filled with bubbles, play doh, a bouncy ball, and sucker.

I decorated our dining room like a circus. I thought it turned out pretty cute.

Sophie had a complete blast. All of my party planning is done for a year or so. I don't know what I am going to do! :) Actually, I have started planning my friends' parties. :)
