Well, I just wanted to let you all know that I'm doing OK!!! :)
I have to admit, the first day working full-time was horrible! It was so long. It probably didn't help that Josh had to supervise something that evening and didn't get home until 8pm. So, I rushed home at 4:15 to relieve childcare, the girls and I packed up and headed to meet a friend to play, and then Josh didn't get home until 8:00pm. So, it was a long and exhausting day for me. My mom told me that I need to say no to the extra things (like meeting friends out to play after working all day), but that is what I love best! I would rather meet a friend to play than stay home alone with the girls. :)

Anyway, I told Josh that if everday was going to be as long as that one, it was going to be A LONG four months! I can honestly say, it's not too bad anymore. It was simply an adjustment that I had to get used to. I think I am on my way.
Today is exciting because it's a snow day! Yeah!!!!
I always try to remember that at least I get to go home to my kids instead of dealing with someone elses. That may help. Routine! Relax and have fun. You only live once and if you can swing it...do it.
ReplyDeleteFour months will fly by. You'll look back on it and think...it wasn't very long at all. Kind of like it is with the "newborn phase". :)
