Happy Birthday to Myah!

Over 3 weeks ago, I turned 28! It shows you what a priority I am to me. :)

Anyway, I really had a great day. Something funny... I always get so irritated because for the past few years, it has been a cold, rainy, and depressing day on my birthday. It was so beautiful for several days before my special day, and then it is 50 dark and rainy when my birthday arrives. Oh well! :) Birthdays just aren't the same anymore as you get older.

Josh has a dozen roses waiting for me when I got home from work. That was a wonderful surprise.

The card he gave to me made me cry. It said, "Happy Birthday to the love of my life and the queen of my heart." Then he wrote, "You are truly the queen of my heart. I love you more and more each day. You are such a wonderful person to everyone you meet. I admire your patience, work ethic, and your loving spirit." How could you not cry from that!? He is such a special guy. It made the rainy day become sunny.

On that night, my mom came over to watch the girls so Josh and I could go out to a nice birthday dinner alone.

My Dad and Stepmom had us over for a birthday dinner at their home that was wonderful.

The weekend after my birthday, we celebrated with Josh's family at Foster Park. Josh's Dad's birthday is 5 days after mine, so we had a big family picnic with his sisters and their kids. It was such a wonderful day.

Josh proposed to me on this bench at Foster Park. We went back to find it. We carved our names in it when we became engaged, but the have since replaced all of the boards.

I just love the look of a growing family that keeps adding kids! :)

So, although April 25th was rainy and cold, you can see that I have plenty to be thankful for and so many people that (for some reason) really love me!
