When we got back to our hotel after skiing, we had a great night's sleep. I am not joking - we slept for 13 hours! My back was sore in the morning. I didn't know if it was from skiing or sleeping too long. :) We slept from 7:30-8:30. We got up and checked out of our hotel. We wanted to walk around downtown Traverse City. So, we found a really cute place to have breakfast and then we walked out to the water. It was so beautiful to be on the lake in the winter. From what I am told, the water there is crystal clear and blue. I believe it because is was crystal clear. I would love to go in the summer. I hear that it is awesome in the summer.

It sounds like you had a great time away together. Neal and I love to snow ski too, but haven't gone yet this year. My sister just went to Crystal Mt. and loved it. We usually go to Boyne Highlands. It is so nice you got to get away just the 2 of you. You NEED that!!

ReplyDeleteGreat pics, looks like a lot of fun. But I have one concern ... who built the railings you were standing against! There's a huge hole right beside you and an opening on the bottom that a kid could fall through!!! AHHHHH! :)
