Happy 7th Anniversary!
On July 15, Josh and I celebrated 7 years of marriage. We went to Foster Park in the morning with the girls. We packed a lunch, played at the park, and Josh and Sophie played tennis. That evening, the girls went to visit Nanny. Josh and I went out to dinner at Mi Pueblo and then got ice cream at Cold Stone. Our evening ended at Meijer because we needed to pick up a handful of things. A little reality thrown into the night! :)
I took a moment during the day to reflect on where we are after 7 years.
- We have 3 children. Yes, I consider the one in my belly in the count!
- We don't have LONG conversations anymore. They are quick, to the point, and often interrupted by a child.
- I don't work out of the home anymore.
- We don't go out ALONE with friends as much. We have big get togethers with our friends and all their kids. Our get togethers involve a lot of noise.
- He still makes me laugh. Well, most of his jokes are still funny.
- We are still madly in love.
- If I could choose from the whole world of men, I would still choose to marry Josh all over again. I am so glad God gave him to me!
I can't believe how fast the past 7 years went and all we have accomplished. I look forward to many more years together and I can't wait to see what our future holds. Thank you, Josh, for being the best husband and father to "your girls". You are amazing!
