At then end of July, my brother flew into town (from FL) for a few days. He has not been home in 2 years. He is a chef and owns his own restaurant, so it's been really hard for him to get home.
He flew in on a Friday morning, and my mom, Derek, and I had lunch together at Joseph Decuis. It was amazing!
It was really great having time just the 3 of us. I don't know when that has ever happened in the last 10 years.
On Saturday night, Josh, Mom, Derek, and I went out to Club Soda for a night out together. That was so much fun too!
My mom and I haven't been out together without the kids in quite sometime.On Sunday, we had a family get together at my aunt and uncle's home. They have a pool, so we ate and swam all afternoon. I didn't take any pictures while we were there.
He left on Monday morning. It was a very short but wonderful visit.
My bro doesn't get home much either. Stinks huh. He is coming in on the 22nd and I am pumped. He's the DJ for Shane's sisters wedding. FUN FUN FUN
