Ok, Lisa! You can stop stalking the site now. :)
Our Halloween was very fun this year. I made a pot of chili and invited the grandparents over to enjoy the festivities with us. Sophie was a bride and Halle was a tiger. Very good choices that reflect their daily lives. We borrowed Halle's costume from Sydney Holmes (a good friend), and it was so small on her! She insisted on wearing it. :)
We just went down our street and back. The girls' bags were full and they were ready to be done walking. The street was packed with kids. It was a beautiful night to be outside.
Halle would say, "Trick or Treat ROAR!" It was so funny!
My mom, Josh and I went with the girls and Josh's parents stayed back to pass out candy at our house.
Once we finished trick or treating with the girls, it was already dark. The girls were excited to pass out candy back home.
Sophie was in charge while the adults enjoyed sitting on the porch - chatting and enjoying a beverage.
Sophie is very clear that she WILL marry her Daddy. So - how appropriate for Josh to propose on Halloween night with a ring pop while Sophie was dressed as a bride.
The only problem - I already married him - he was all mine WAY before she was in the picture. So, is anyone available out there for me once they get married? I am trying to explain this to her, but she just won't buy it. I can say - She has good taste.
What a wonderful Halloween!
What a beautiful picture! I hope you frame it and put it in her room - as a treasured keepsake.
