I can't believe that Ian is 3 weeks old already. Sunday marked the day. Things have really stabalized and settled back to normal around here. Well - our new "normal". I am on my own most days and handling all of the responsibilities just fine. I have even had all 3 at bedtime a few times alone. All I can say is that we have procedures around here that have to be followed or there is a consequence. :) I run a tight ship. All kids are usually down by 8:30. It's really nice.
I haven't wanted to comment much on Ian's sleep because I have been afraid that I would have to eat my words. However, I think it's safe at 3 weeks to say how great he has been. Ever since the day he has been home, he has "slept" through the night. He gets up a few times to eat and goes right back sleep. Of course, some nights have been rougher than others and he hasn't settled back to sleep - well, he will on my chest. :)
I started him on a flexible schedule at 2 weeks. I start his day at 7:30am. I have to do that in order to get the girls ready and out the door by 8:50 on MWF for preschool.
All the newborn things are over. His cord fell off and his other "area" is all healed up. I have also stabalized. I feel like my hormones are back to normal. I'm not crying as easily. :)
The girls have also settled down a bit with him. That's nice!
He continues to be a great baby. I am just praying it doesn't change.
Pictures please :)
