Week #1 Wardrobe - Before and After

 Well, I feel like I made some good progress this week!  I'm pleased.

Here is my side of the closet - before.

 This is a common sight in our bedroom - clothes waiting to be put away.  Josh says, "This chair is nice, if we can use it to sit."  :)

 My pajama drawer has been way too full - and then I just put stuff on my dresser because I'm out of room!  I was able to donate 1/2 of it!

I dumped all of my drawers and wiped them out.  Tackling my pajama drawer was quite a task.  I sorted it all into piles:  shorts, pants, t-shirt, tank tops, sets.  I kept several of each.  I got rid of 1/2 of my "pajama" stuff.

I went through my socks and got rid of random items and tossed a lot of underwear and lingerie.

In my closet:  I got rid of everything I didn't wear this winter.  I wiped the closet walls and shelving.  I sorted everything by color (which I already did), and turned all of my hangers backwards.  That way, at the end of each season, if it hasn't been worn (if the hanger is still backwards) - it's gone.

I got rid of a few sweaters on the shelves and refolded everything nicely.

I donated business suits and prom dresses. By the time I am interviewing, I need to buy a new suit!

I have 2 garbage bags full of clothes to donate.  I'm not even trying to sell it.  It's gone.

Josh never got to his stuff!  Maybe Spring Break!

I was also able to tackle my jewelry and accessories.  One of my greatest friends game me an awesome Jewelry Organizer that is hanging in my closet!

After:

The chair is currently cleaned off and available for sitting.  We'll see how long that lasts!  Josh better hurry home and have a seat.  ;)

All of my pajamas fit in their drawer now!
