November brings us to Chapter 3 - Possessions.
The Plan: We'll be giving away 7 possessions, every day, for a month = 210 items.
I've really been looking forward to this month! I'm not gonna lie - I pre-hoarded a bit.
My prayer is that I'm connected with people who need our possessions - and that all 5 of us would feel less and less attached to our possessions.
We're off to a good start! A friend of mine has arranged and invited people to drop items at her house that she will be shipping to the east coast - for those affected by Hurricane Sandy. This morning, we gathered blankets, books, clothes, shoes and coats to send to the east coast. Our kids asked so many questions and were so eager to give. We may already be at 210 items. No joke. Thanks, Jennifer, for arranging this! You are an angel. It's been a fun way to kick off our possessions month!
