Well, there were several people in the room to witness it, but Halle has said "mama"!!!!!
I can't even believe it! Sophie said "dada" first and most babies do. Halle said it and I yelled, "Did you hear that???!!!" Everyone's eyes got huge at the same time. It was great. Over the past couple of days, she has been babbling like crazy. She is now saying mama more and more to get my attention. She is also saying babababa, gagagaga, but not dada. Sorry, Josh! :) It's about time one of our kids got it right.
You are so lucky! ... Ella's first word I believe was DOG. So you see where Ben and I rank! :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't that the coolest thing? I loved it when Krue said his first word, "hi". I'll let you know what Kiefer's first word is...his favorite person in this world is his mommy:) ... so we'll see!
