The girls were in Sophie's room playing the other day, and I stepped out to put some laundry away. When I went back in, I found the girls in this chair loving on each other. I just about died!!!
Halle thinks she is such big stuff in this chair! She is such a dare devil. She climbs on everything, and she isn't afraid to do much. Sophie was always very cautious. Halle is not.
Now, it looks like Sophie is the sweetest big sister. Well, she is most of the time! However, we are really getting in to the fighting over toys, Sophie grabbing things from Halle, Halle knocking over something Sophie has been working on, and Halle wanting to be a part of everything Sophie is doing. I have accepted that this is the way life will be from here on out. We are just working really hard with the way Sophie responds to Halle. All in all, they absolutely adore each other, and I am so glad they are so close in age.

It is so sweet to see sibilings that close - they must see love to show love, so you must do a great job at showing them lots of love! My brother and I were close like that - we use to lie on the floor and watch TV with our legs intertwined all the time.

ReplyDeleteFrom experience, I know that your girls will probably go through stages where they love each other, hate each other, love each other....but most likely they will end up being the best of friends. They will look back at pictures like those and cherish them.
