We had Ian's newborn check yesterday, and he is doing wonderful! He already weighs 8lb 1oz. The goal at this appt. was to regain his birthweigh - 7lb 9oz - so he did great! He is a great eater. He was still 20.5 inches long. He was in the 75percentile for height and the 65percentile for weight.
The doc. was pleased with the way his circumcision and cord looked. I am excited for those 2 things to be healed. Less newborn care stuff will be nice. It makes middle of the night changes in the dark a little challenging. :) I am worried about getting peed on, snagging the cord, and making sure there's not poop in places it shouldn't be.
We thank God for a healthy, happy baby!
Wow! I can't believe he's put a pound on already! Good news. He is so cute. I am so glad you all are doing well.
