Sophie and I had a wonderful morning together celebrating her 6th birthday! We started the day at 10am by going to Painting Fun Spot to paint - only to realize they didn't open until 12. She was soooo sad - she has to be to school by 12:40. She handled it like a BIG GIRL and we decided we'd do some other things and then come back from 12-12:30.
So, we left to go to Target - to get a new leapster game.
After Target, we went to Chik fil A for lunch together. We love that place! :)
Then we ended our time together at Painting Fun Spot and she chose to paint a heart jewelry box for her DADDY (for his office)! She is a Daddy's girl!!! :)
Sophie is such a doll and painting a precious piece for her Daddy. It was just the 2 of us in there. It was so quiet and such a special time together. We don't get a lot of quiet time together. 
This morning, Sophie was holding up 6 fingers!!

ReplyDeleteIt is so nice to have alone time with the oldest and time some real girl time! Lauren loves that too and but it doesn't happen very often. Happy 6th Birthday Sophie! She is beautiful!
