Buttons!

I found this darling antique jar filled with buttons at a Garage Sale. I thought it would be adorable in our school room. Ian LOVES it! It's been awesome. He dumps them out, puts them back in, throws them, tries to eat them.... It's been very handy when I need some time - like meal prep!

I bought a similar jar at the same sale, and I have him transfer objects back and forth. You could also do this with dry beans or other small objects. Of course, stay close. Oh, as I'm writing... I'm thinking - how bad of a Mother I am - due to choking hazards! Oh well! :)

How fun! Isn't he just a doll baby?!
