Our Homemade Dishwasher Detergent...

I was mixing up another batch of dishwasher detergent today and thought I'd share.

Here is my large list of Homemade Cleaners we use, but I enjoy breaking them down for you all.

Homemade Dishwasher Detergent:
1 cup Borax
1 cup Arm & Hammer washing soda
1/4 cup kosher salt
1/4 cup citric acid
Add vinegar to your rinse compartment to help prevent clouding.

Use 1-2 T per load.

Add vinegar to your rinse compartment to use as a rinse aid or add 1/2-1 cup of vinegar to the bottom of the dishwasher per load.

You can also add 1-3 drops of dish soap in with the powder.  Not more than 3 drops!

Here is some additional info for you.
