My Homemade Laundry Detergent Review

I am standing in my kitchen at the moment - making another batch of our homemade laundry detergent - waiting for the grated soap to dissolve.

I've gone through seasons - this school year - when I haven't made it, and I've had to break down and buy a a couple different store brands.  I've used Tide and Purex.  When I bought them, I thought to myself, "Ok, this is an opportunity to compare my homemade stuff with store bought stuff."

I'm writing now to say - I believe it's just as good as the store brands!

The store brands do not remove stains any better or make our laundry look and feel any better.  The only difference would be a stronger fragrance smell from the store brands - which messes with us a bit anyway, so I'm fine with not having that.

So, there you have it.  I'm a believer!
