A Bed of Roses...Not all the Time!

As I read through my blog entries, I am noticing how positive and perfect my days seem with my daughters. I must admit, most days are pretty wonderful. However, I have some real irritating ones as well! I need to make sure I write about those too! I am blogging for my own scrapbooking and journaling purposes, so I don't want to look back on my parenting and think it was all a bed of roses. And...I don't want for all of you to think our life is perfect.

So...this morning was one of those BAD mornings. Sophie whined ALL MORNING LONG!!! Everything she said/asked me was in a whine. I was starting to get a stomach ulcer by lunch! The only hope is that she will take a nap and wake up happy again! Who knows! I tell her "no whining. use your words. ask me without whining." She is getting the hang of it and believe it or not she stopped whining a little bit. I WILL NOT RAISE A MONSTER! oh, if any of you out there know how I feel, please respond!!! Post a comment and make me feel better!

Love,
One irritated Mommy

  1. I feel your pain! I was in the same situation on Friday. Corbin was horrible and sick. I tried for 3 hours to get him and Sam down for a nap with no such luck. I was at my wits in and I called Adam to ask if it was okay to start drinking in the afternoon. :) I was only kidding and of course did not but I wanted to!
Hang in thier we can do it!!

  2. I know what you are talking about, Myah! I've been known to lock myself in the bathroom when Lee gets home from work and take a long hot shower or run some errands. It seems like it happens all at once...first Krue starts up, then Kiefer starts crying, then Dudley wants outside and starts barking, and of course the phone rings. How far can a mom stretch? Keep on being the great mom that you are...and remember, we are right there with you!
