Halle Lin

at 4 years and 3 months, this pretty much sums it up for her.

I was upstairs and all of a sudden, I hear the chair sliding across the tile! That's never good.

She was innocently moving the chair to the sink to wash her apple. But, she didn't just run the water. She had to "spray" it. Therefore, in the process - my entire kitchen was getting a cleaning. Of course, I had to grab the camera (which I always keep close) so I never miss a "moment". I had to snap a picture because this pretty much sums up Halle right now.

She picks out her clothes everyday. I'm just so proud she does it independently! (although my Mom would think different at times).
In this particular moment, she has on peace tights, a nice floral dress, and her hair looks like 2 cats got into a fight on her head. That's pretty typical - for a couple of reasons. She has very fine hair, sleeps 12 hours straight, and I can't get to it until we have to! Right before school, church, or something else very important.
She is displaying her independence - which she is!
I just love my little Hal. She is so unique and such a keeper!
We love you, Baby Girl, all the way to the moon and back.

  1. I know this saying is for people who have mullets... but little Halle's hair brings new meaning to, "business in the front, party in the back!" Love it!!! :) A lot of your stories remind me a lot of a girl version of my middle child. Life would be SO dull without them! :)

  3. I love it when parents let thier children pick out thier own clothes. Granted they might not match all the time but I think it gives kids such a self-esteem boost and helps them become more independant. Good Job! :). I love Halle stories!
